I've been told to post as much as possible so that the picture of James crying in my post from last week disapears and is no longer on the front page. So this is a filler post but will include a photo that I meant to post a long time ago and never did.
This was taken one night when James wouldn't go to bed by any normal means (e.g. nursing, rocking, singing etc.) so Ryan decided to let him roam our upstairs hall until he fell asleep on the floor.

In case anyone wonders, I was lying next to him and rubbing his back as he fell asleep. I only moved for the photo!

ReplyDeleteYeah I guess I didn't explain that very well. Ryan was roaming the hall with him because we couldn't get him to lie down anywhere without screaming or even hold him. Ryan let him walk around in the hallway (because there are no toys ro things to climb on to distract him) until he was tired enough for some back rubbing and sleep.
ReplyDeleteI knew I had him when he sprawled across my lap and laid his head on my thigh. Then I gently coaxed him to the ground. Also, I miss those PJs! He's too big for them now. Elvis collar! Super cute. ~Ryan/Dad
